About Us

Western Grove School, the largest in the Ozark Mountain School District, is located in the town of Western Grove in the extreme northeast corner of Newton County.  Western Grove is a kindergarten through twelfth grade school.

There are many opportunities for high school students to explore their interests through classes on campus, virtual online classes, online concurrent with North Arkansas College, and face-to-face concurrent classes held at the Northark Technical Campus.

There are many organizations and activities for the students at Western Grove.  Elementary students in grades 4-6 can participate in fall and spring peewee basketball.  4-H is a club open to all students ages 9-19.

High school students can be a member of FBLA, FFA, Rapid Response, and Youth Alive.  Students may participate in basketball, golf, track, baseball, and softball.

All students may participate in free movie nights held throughout the year at the school.

Many of the teachers at the school have been graduates from Western Grove or have been a part of the Western Grove family for several years.
